So many Questions

So I tried to post some pictures but for some reason it is not working right now. Picture to come but they did not have anything to do with the post anyway!!!

Okay to all you mothers both stay at home and not! So kensi is the biggest rollercoster is this just an 18 month thing or is this going to last forever? or am I the only one who feels this way? There are days (well maybe I should go with moments) there are moments that Kensi is my best friend and I honestly am okay hanging out with her and only her. then those moments seem to flip into this monster. where she freaks out if she does not get here way throws these temper tantrums and makes me honesly feel like even if I wanted I could not have another kid. Mentally and physically too much to handle.

Then there are these moments where I'm the last person in the world that she wants and will not let me hold her if her life depended on it, then like on sunday took her to nursery which she has been struggling with in the new ward, got her occupied and snuck out. then two mothers could not get her to calm down so once they found me she immediatly stopped for the occational gasp of breath!!!

Speaking of nursery any tricks??? Mark and I have to switch so be able to have some sanity and go to parts of church. There is a possibility that one of us will be put in the nursey they only have one lady for 9 kids CRAZY but last week they had help from another couple and mark/me

Last but not least every once in a while she will still wake up in the middle of the night I don't know to bad dreams or whether she has marks bad guts and her stomach hurts but usually she frustrates me because she wont calm down and freaks out until she falls asleep then wont let you put her down, so you end up holding her 1/2 the night!!! but then there are nights like last night where I completely woke up when she did and we just sat together she honestly sat with me at 3-5 am and watched tv and drank some milk then slowly layed down and fell asleep on me and was easy to lay in bed. I'm sorry but I loved that!! Just sitting there with my daughter that cant tell me what is wrong and snuggling!! It was wonderful.

So as of now I think I might be able to handle one more but she has not woken up yet so I'll let you know!!!Sorry such a long post ! feel free to post your comments on what a bad mother I am that my child throws temper tantrums and says no!! or to tell me your methods of dealing with it. or the waking up thing of the nursery thing feel free for advice!

Play Date

He He I never thought I would be the type of a play date person. but ladies from my ward invited and with the need to make friends I attended and actaully had a blast. Thank heavens they do it every week. We went to an enclosed park let our kids run wild and we sat at a table in the middle of it and laughed. It was great. I played thousands of questions trying to get to know everyone, and although I know how many kids they have and what their husbands do I'm still working on their names. Names are the worst for me to learn. Hopefully I will get there soon. But just so everyone knows I'm now a fan of play dates that is if they are all like that! I love you and miss you all. Sorry no pictures I'm working on the yard tomorrow and we live in quite the jungle so I will post pictures of the progression.

updates from the London home

The first restraunt we went to in Williams and anyone that comes down will be going to it has amazing food and like 50 types of pie.
Kensi asleep on her bear I love this picture!

Kensi and DAddy home for one of the first times!

A train promoting the movie a christams carol. they were cool and you could take free tours of the train.

Our kitchen started there is still much to go!

Family rm. with the flat pannel we had to buy for the firsplace because the holes were already there.

Our master suit. I love it I love having a bathroom attched to the bedroom and huge closets are even better.

Spare bedroom were yall will be staying if you come Please come WE would love to have you
Quick update on us everything is going good I was a little worried to be here with what I tought was unfriendly neighbors but turned out everyone seems to be nice. We went to church and although a very small ward there is a lot of young families which is what we want. Kensi has been having a hard time. She misses everyone so much it is crazy you think that she would forget faster! she asks about so many all the time, Becca, Jill, Mylee, londyn, phil and of course grandma and papa! So today was sad because she kept looking for mark and when she realized that he was not here she would not leave my side. Sad but hopefully she understands and realizes when everyone visits that they did not die they just live far away!! I love you all and hope to hear from you soon. I'm a little concerned what I'm going to be doing with me and the little miss 5 days a week. I think that I might pick up cooking more but we will have to see!
oh yeah one more kensi's rm and yes she is even asleep in there!

Our cute new purchase

Yeah it is official we are home owners. It seems so crazy to me that just like emily said that I am old enough to buy a home! It is crazy that Mark and I are both graduated and on to another chapter in our lives. This is our cute little home. no homes in flagstaff are very big unless you are willing to spend over 500,000 dollars if not then you settle for a cute small one. but this is good for us it is new as of '06 and after a little cleaning it is move in ready. We are so excited and a little nervous to not know a soul but ya know what it seems kinda exciting I get to be who ever I want to and no one will know the difference hehe!
Our kitchen yeah and granite counter tops anyone know about granite some say that I need to take precautions while other say no?? I just might have to research a little more!

Family rm just off the kitchen all ready for the flat pannel that we don't have so a picture or a clock just might have to hang there!

My favorite room the master bath. It has a jetta tub and his and hers walk in huge closets
and . . .

Duel head shower yeah I have always wanted one of these!! people tease me but mark and I have always showered together for the 6 years that we have been married and I am so excited to not have to wait in the cold back of the shower while the other rinses!!!!!
Here it is now don't yall be jelous at our cute little home but I love it because it is my first home!!!
Sorry it has been a while since posting we will take pictures of our mess that we are in right now and you will know why I have not posted!!!

Wicked

Okay so Amazing is all that I have to say about that Mark and I got the great oppertunity to go and see wicked a couple of nights ago and it was so incredible. I have definately seen a fair share of brodways actually on broadway and off and many many plays and this topped them all by a mile. It was so good. I bought the tickets almost a year ago for Marks b-day and I was more excited then him I think but however I think that we loved it the same it rushed quickly to the top of both our lists! So for those who have seen it the defying gravity part WOW man I just can seem to say enough I want to go and see it again now. Mark and I made a date out of it we dropped off kensi well mark did while I tried to get a quick nights sleep after working the night before and then we went to lunch at a german restraunt next to capital theatre and FYI to those going the doors do not open until 30 minutes before so don't even bother being early! anyway then we went to the incredible play and next to neilsons frozen custard for a wonderful concreate those are my fav!!! I love dates that are majical like that one was!!! Then we returned to life he he but I guess that is okay considering we have a pretty good one! Well the reason for no posts is my camera card reader is not working so we are trying to figure that out and I have been attmepting again to post a video so keep your fingers crossed for my stupidity.

Our house hunting trip

This was part of our drive to arizona it was incredible there were so many different spots that you could stop and take great pictures!! which is great when you are traveling with a one year old!!
Okay this was kensi's favorite thing in the hotel room she would cram in the fridge then try and close it of couse she was too big to fit completely but she tried pretty hard!!

Kensi on our journey hunting for a home! she did surprisingly well on the entire trip the problem was that she got used to it so for a while after the trip she would wake up and want to go and get in the car!!
This is just above Lake powel so when all you come to visit we are about 2 hours away from lake powel and only an hour from the grand canyon! we are expecting visitors. And for all those who are curious we did find a couple homes that we loved and we are in the proces of buying one now., we are to close on april 27 so I will post pictures after I know that we are going to get it!! Yeah we are expecting lots of visitors.

SHOUT OUT TO THE RN'S

I decided to do a shout out to all Registered Nurses. I am at work and it is currently 3am and I just well a while ago decided that we are an under appreciated profession. It seems like that just because you are a nurse that you are supposed to be nice and wonderful to everyone. Well I know maybe it is just me but I like to hear a THANKS every once in a while. I have worked 5 shifts this week and have I even seen my boss to even think about a thank you NO!!! So I am saying it to all the nurses out there you truly are wonderful people and you all deserve a huge THANKS for all that you do!!!!

I had a patient the other night that passed away while in my care and it was somewhat expected and the family seemed to be okay. but for some reason I had the hardest time. Here family is thanking me and everything and I am using all my might to choke back tears!!! it was then that I grew a new appreciation for the nurses that I work with many nurses were helping me that night and you could tell that a couple of nurses noticed that I was choking back, since nurses are trained to notice everything, and many nurses changed their affect and really appeared concerned that I was about to cry!!!! Man I love nurses I work with so many wonderful ones and I know that even though we have a crapy administration we always have each other. We have worked together through some bad times that only seem to be getting worse, and we still have such a great relationship I love it!!! Aight now those nurses that I work with that actually read this will probably mock me for the rest of my life but seeing how I'm leaving in a month you can just deal with being loved for a minute!!! Well again thanks to all the nurses who work with me, all my friends that are nurses and even all those who I don't know that are blogg hopping right now you are wonderful people who deserve much in all that you do!!!

Home Shoping

Well as many of you know Mark has accepted a job in Flagstaff, Az for GORE as a Mechanical Engineer and we are so excited and proud of him. Mark has worked so hard for our family to get through the impossabilities of school to finally see the end. We are excited to work for this company they truly seem like a great one!! but hunting for a house??

AAAHHHH!! It seems so fun and we have looked for homes ever since we got married but never for this real!!! and I honestly did not think that it would be this stressful. I'm a stressor to some extent but usually just think it will all work out in the end but this has made me sick to my stomach often. The stress of The homes you like being sold, being worried of not finding a good deal, not being able to have enough money for all the down payments and closing costs, all the pre approval crap and many phone calls waiting on hold to talk to someone that is soon to take all your money, and making sure that you find the right neighbor hood for your family and to raise my daughter ( no worries I already looked at the sexual preditors website)!!

Maybe it will be better when we actually go and see the homes I hope so anyway. We are going to flagstaff in a couple of weeks and the late night internet searches will turn into actual homes Crazy how that works. So thanks to all of you out there that warned me how stressful this would be or lack thereof!!!! all I could think of before was what color to paint the walls but that is only if the house is not sold!! He He He sorry for my venting I do feel better now I think that mark has heard enough of my venting continually since we started this so Prayers for us that we do actually find the home that is for us!!! and go a head and give any advice if you would like to!!

Will you be my Valentine???

Okay I know that so many people think that Valentines is a stupid excuse for telling your loved one that you love them and that you should do that on a daily basis. But the thing is we are human and busy at that so I love having a day dedicated to love!!! This is going to be a picture less post because I am at work and I got no picts. I just wanted to send a quick note saying how fortunate I am to have my wonderful husband. We have been married 6 years and so many people told me that since i was married so young that after a couple years I will want to go back to being free and a teenager again, well that is far from the case. Mark is the best thing that I could have ever asked for and more. There is not a day that goes my that I do not feel so fortunate that I have him. He truly is my best friend, we have been through so much together. We have traveled the world together and more important brought a child to this earth. I am so glad that I have been able to do all this with him. Mark I love you so much and am so greatful to have you in my life now and for the much more life there is to come!! The other day I was walking out one of my patients and her husband leaned over to me with such excitment and wispered that he had got her a car for valentines and he could not wait for the expression on her face. Now this couple was both far into their 80's and sure enough when she found out that it was her car she just lit and gave him a kiss it was the cuttest thing ever. I am excited for that so excited to be old with my husband. And mark you had better give me a car for valentines when I am 86 aight. I love you and hope that you will be my valentine!!!!
